Nothing’s free except for God’s love and this lunch. Third Saturdays in Bellevue.

Brown Bag Lunch is a monthly free food ministry that takes place in the heart of Bellevue. Every third Saturday, volunteers from New Life prepare lunches to share with neighbors, local businesses, and anyone walking by who wants one — no sign up required.
The pre-packed meals are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 10:30 AM. We typically hand out about 100 meals at each event, and may run out by 11:00 AM in our busy months. Please note that meals may be frozen and require heating up.
God has blessed us and we are looking to bless others. We work with The Center of Bellevue to distribute in a central location, and with World Vision to provide clothes, toys, and toiletries when available. Whatever God provides, we give it away.
Need an extra portion? Worried about food allergies? Want to receive prayer? Just ask. Most of us don’t bite.
Volunteer:
If you would like to volunteer with this ministry, we’d be glad to have you! We can always use extra sets of hands to prep, pack, and distribute meals starting on Saturdays at 9:30 AM at New Life (use the parking lot entrance). Please reach out to Kim Brown or use the volunteer form to get involved.
Donate:
Buying lunch for someone in the community may be cheaper than you think! We purchase and prep in bulk, so each meal only cost about $5.00. Monetary contributions are accepted online or at New Life. If you can, please consider a monthly gift of $5.00 or more.

This program relies on donations that allow us to purchase food and supplies, and the helping hands of volunteers who prep, pack, and serve meals. Your help is greatly appreciated!
Brown Bag Lunch is distributed on the third Saturday of each month at the Center of Bellevue. Check the calendar for other food-focused events.
